New Features

Your portfolio value over a period of your choice, short selling, your tax allowance in the calendar, a typo-tolerant search and a noticeably faster DivvyDiary.

Besides the big new features of the last few weeks, we have also worked on many smaller things. Here are the most important ones:

📈 Portfolio value over your period: In the "Portfolio Value" tile of your portfolio, you now choose the period we show the change for, from 1D to MAX. One click on the number switches between percent and amount. The change shows your price gain, with buys and sells excluded. MAX now also works without purchase prices on file.

📉 Short selling: If you sell more shares than you hold, you can now record it as a short sale. When your transactions contain such a sale, you will find the "Short selling" switch under "Edit Security". The short position then shows with a negative holding in your portfolio and in the charts, and a later buy closes it again.

💶 Cash accounts in the red: Your cash accounts can now have a negative balance, for example for a securities loan. The negative balance flows into your analyses, and debit interest counts as a cost. We also project interest as far ahead as your dividends, to the end of next year.

🧾 Tax allowance in the calendar: Your tax allowance now also applies in the Dividend Calendar, in your email notifications and in the calendar export. The back of the payment cards in the calendar shows how much of a payment your allowance covers. Each portfolio uses its own allowance, just like in the Dividend Tab.

🔍 Smarter search: The search now forgives typos ("microsft"), in the screener as well as when you add a security. It also finds securities in any word order ("world msci ishares"), with or without accents ("telefónica") and with "euro" instead of "€". And it answers about eight times as fast.

⚡ Much faster: On your first visit, DivvyDiary now loads about three quarters less code. We only load the data for the DeepDive when you open it, which usually saves more than 80 % of the data for portfolios with ETFs. The Dividend Tab and the performance charts load up to three times as fast for large portfolios.

Exclusive for Aristocrats 👑 Cash accounts and net values with your tax allowance are available to our Aristocrats. Everything else is open to everyone.

We are looking forward to your feedback!

We wish you further good dividend yields
